As a teacher, Nate Mayland balances musicality with the fundamentals of playing a brass instrument. Drawing on over three decades of varied musical experience, he teaches classical technique, doubling, Broadway styles, and jazz improv. Nate prioritizes finding a personal approach to polishing students’ existing skills and approaching new ones. All levels welcome.
